Discover the Italian Riviera on this day trip to the beautiful Cinque Terre from Milan. The tour will begin with your private driver collecting you from your hotel in Milan (or another custom location in the area) with a luxury sedan or minivan, after a 3.5hr drive you will reach Monterosso, the first of the ‘Five Lands’, namely ‘Cinque Terre’.
Upon the arrival in Monterosso, you will meet your licensed private guide who will lead you through this beautiful town. Your tour will proceed through the narrow pebbled streets, bringing you to the rocky cove surrounded by colorful buildings.
Surrounded by hills full of vineyards and olive trees, it offers a beautiful waterfront promenade which takes you to the historical center. Boarding on a water-taxi together with your guide you will then reach Vernazza, this enchanted village as you visit the natural harbor with fishermen boats, the small-pebbled shore and the bayside small square. Admire the old fortress that once protected the town for centuries from raiding pirates and step inside the church Santa Margherita d’Antiochia. The tour will continue with lunch, where you can taste the flavors of the regions.
Leaving Vernazza, as you sail to the next village, you can admire the perched town of Corniglia, characterized by pastel-colored houses and breathtaking coast. Next stop will be Manarola, surrounded by green hills and dominated by the castle used in the past as a defensive fortress. You can have free time to enjoy some lunch tasting local dishes and the unique “Sciacchetrà”, the typical local white wine.
After lunch, the last stop is Riomaggiore and the picturesque fishermen houses directly built next to the water level. You will then re-meet your driver, driving you back to your hotel in Milan.
