This day-trip tour will let you discover the beautiful and worldwide famous Chianti region. The trip will start in Florence, with your personal driver collecting you from your hotel and in less than one hour you will reach the Chianti hills, located in the area between Florence and Siena. You will discover and taste the ‘Gallo Nero’ marked wine exactly where it is produced.
This tour includes the visit the three historical towns of the Chianti production: Greve, Castellina and Radda.
After a brief sightseeing of the area, you will reach a beautiful farm located on the hills of Castellina di Chianti. The farm focuses on the production of Chianti wine and local olive oil. At the vineyard, you will get a guided visit of the grapes, explaining you all the production process of the most famous Italian red wine in the world.
After this visit and quick lecture about wine-making, your driver will suggest you one of the best wineries for your local wine tasting. There are a few remarkable ones and if time allows you can visit also more than one. Pricing of the wine-tasting varies depending on the quantity of wine and food you order from about EUR 10 to EUR 50 per person for a full lunch service including wine. The menu changes throughout the year as the fresh products represents the main ingredients of the local dishes.
During this day-trip you can decide to buy the local products directly from the producer and also let them take care of the shipping worldwide.
After lunch, your driver will drive you back to Florence (or other custom location).

In Greve you can find the Chianti atmosphere throughout the year. Surrounded by vineyards and the typical rolling landscape that bloom in spring and summer,during the annual occasion of the Flower Festival occasion Greve is even more attractive.
The road to Castellina has a very impressive landscape and the country has a rich history dating back to the Bronze Age and the Etruscans. There are also many testimonies of medieval times.
Radda is a village with the characteristic medieval appearance with interesting historical and religious buildings.
