After a short drive departing from Pisa, your personal driving-guide will welcome you to Lucca. This town is famous for its medieval city-walls very well conserved and the Guinigi tower.
The walls encircling the old city remained intact even if the city has expanded during the centuries. Nowadays they became a pedestrian path as it is very nice walk along. The gates through the walls are very-well conserved too. Within the walls there is the Guinigi tower with its characteristic trees on top of it.
The Antfiteatro square is located in the Lucca historical center and with its oval shape gives you the feeling to be more than welcome. Here you can relax in one of the bars facing the square where you can enjoy the typical Italian break: an espresso or a good ice cream.
During this day-trip you can decide any moment where to stop in order to have lunch or a wine tasting in one of the good winery. The driving-guide who knows very well the area, will be happy to suggest a good place for your needs.
At the end of this two-cities Tuscany tour your personal driver will take you back to your hotel in Florence after a one hour drive.
