You have limited time in Milan, maybe have a flight or train on the day after and you would want to visit the city, getting to know as much as possible in a 3hr tour ? This tour is exactly for you!

The itinerary of your private walking tour begins with your professional guide from the Sforza Castle – built by the Sforza Family in the 15th Century as their residence and fortress, with contributions of several engineers and architects, including Leonardo Da Vinci . Walking through the elegant streets of the city centre you will reach Piazza Duomo, with the magnificent cathedral of Milan (The Duomo), the third largest catholic church in the world, an impressive tribute to the greatness of medieval Italian Gothic style. Inside of the Duomo you will learn about the history and art of this temple and (if time allows) go up to the terraces on top of the cathedral to admire a spectacular view over the city.

After this, you will cross the square to enter the Vittorio Emanuele Gallery. Built in the 19th Century, the Galleria rapidly became one of the most popular places in the city thanks to the elegant cafés, luxury shops and prestigious restaurants. On the opposite side of the Galleria you will exit in front of the the Scala Opera House, famous for being the stage of the greatest artists of all time, composers and directors like Verdi, Puccini, Toscanini; ballet dancers like Nureyev and opera stars like Pavarotti, they all found here their greatest successes.

From the Scala you the proceed to the Brera neighborhood, one of the most ancient and charming areas of Milan, visit the Brera National Gallery. This museum hosts a magnificent collection of paintings and you will see works by Raphael, Caravaggio, Mantegna, Piero della Francesca.  The time with your guide will end here, but you will probably like to continue to stroll around and do some shopping in the “Quadrilatero della Moda” – the Milan fashion district.
